Playmakers Summer Theatre Camp at The Garfield Center For The Arts is provided for children ages 8-15. The summer camp program runs four weeks, culminating in two evening performances and a matinee performance that includes all participants. Children ages 8-10 will make up the chorus and supporting characters, while the 11-15 year old campers will play the lead roles. There will also be three cultural performances for the campers during the four weeks of camp.

Hedgelawn Performance Series and PLAYMAKERS: Each week, exciting multi-cultural performers introduce Playmakers to a variety of theatrical arts. Playmakers interact with Professional Artists who provides three Fridays of interactive entertainment, plus conversion, interaction and education directly with Playmakers.
Hedgelawn Performance Series and THE COMMUNITY: These shows are open to everyone, so friends and family can attend too! Dates: TBD (Tickets are $5 for non-campers)
Note: The Federal government provides a dependent care tax credit for items like day camps. IRS Publication number 503 may be downloaded via the IRS web site at www.irs.gov. In addition, IRS Form 2241, “Child and Dependent Care Expenses,” which needs to be completed along with your IRS Form 1040, provides information on calculating the amount of your federal credit.
