The Garfield Center for the Arts at the Prince Theatre announces locally written plays which will appear in Short Attention Span Theatre 2013.
This is our ninth year of producing Short Attention Span Theatre (SAST), our annual 10-minute play festival. Each year we solicit locally written scripts for inclusion in the show. This year we are pleased to announce that we received a record number of submissions!
Of the many submitted plays, our play pre-selection committee selected these shows for consideration by the SAST 2013 directors:
“A Modern Day Confrontation” written by Tia Glomb
“Breakfast Special” written by Paul Briggs
“Curiosity Killed The Cat” written by Valerie Dunn
“Guest Star” written by Keith Thompson
“Just A Bus Driver” written by Susan Middaugh
“The Other Side” written by Mark Sullivan
“To Thine Own Self” written by Steve Arnold
“Welcome Baby” written by Danielle Faulkner
These plays were ultimately selected by directors and will appear in SAST 2013:
“A Modern Day Confrontation” written by Tia Glomb
“Breakfast Special” written by Paul Briggs
“Guest Star” written by Keith Thompson
“The Other Side” written by Mark Sullivan
“To Thine Own Self” written by Steve Arnold
In addition to these locally written scripts, we will also showcase these published pieces:
