Rooted in Delta Blues, but with hints of rock & twang & soul, the trio is a rare mix of Guitar, harmonica & percussion trio. In addition to Telecaster & Les Paul guitars, Aaron Moreland uses a hand-crafted ‘cigar box’ guitar, four strings stretched across a cigar box, a gritty, electrified descendant of instruments used by countless Delta bluesmen of the early 1900s.
Harpist and vocalist Dustin Arbuckle counts Sonny Boy Williams and Son House among his influences. Drummer Kendall Newby rounds out the trio. The band has toured with such blues r icons as Johnny Lang, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray and George Thorogood.
The trio is currently on tour in both Europe and the States in support of their just completed 7th cd.
